Woody's Legacy

As many know, June 29, 2023, marked one year since the passing of our beloved co-founder and namesake, Medal of Honor recipient Woody Williams. We miss him dearly, but we are encouraged to see his legacy live on through our mission. As he said many times, “It is not about me, it is about them. It is about serving our Gold Star Families.”

This year also marks ten years of the Woody Williams Foundation bringing communities together to honor, recognize, and serve. As we enter into this new chapter for the Foundation, we remain focused on Woody’s words and are thankful to see continued growth in all areas of our services and programs. This year we will be able to touch more lives than ever before. We are grateful to all those who are joining us in pursuing “the cause that is greater than I.”
